Prominence

Prominence
The bold colors, the reds and gold with bright turquoise, depict a sense of importance and strength. You can imagine so many examples of prominence in these bold shapes. You can imagine so many examples of prominence in these bold shapes, possibly a prominent lady showing off her new dress. The following poem by the artist, Susan Lackey, was inspired by this artwork.
Her arms in the air, spread out wide
She seems to fly as she takes her stride.
In red velvet, she is, and covered with gold.
All over the place, this story is told.
For certain, this gal is a sight to see.
No more for me, it’s time to flee.
